Baby Shower Dear Diary

My neutral boho-themed baby shower

You’ve obviously read the subject line, and if you follow me on Instagram, then you probably already know that I am now a mama!!! Here’s my pregnancy announcement in case you missed it!! We are truly so grateful and thankful for this blessing and can’t wait to cherish all the cute little moments.

I have always dreamed about having my own baby. If you know me well, then you know that I love children/babies. I’m always getting along with people’s kids, and to think that I now have my own little blessing to nurture and cuddle with is just WILD!

Anyway so back to the baby shower, which by the way was on July 16th, 2022, boy how the time flies!! I wanted to share some photos from the event just so that I have them saved somewhere I can come back to and relive this moment. Plus I also wanted to give a shout-out to the vendors that were kind enough to work with me to make this event successful!

As you might have noticed on Instagram, It’s all about neutrals for me, and of course, that was the color theme I chose for the baby shower. It was a neutral, boho teddy bear theme in case you were wondering.

After doing a ton of research and budgeting, I came across Mega Elements Party on Instagram and loved their work. I reached out to see if she’d be willing to work with me and she agreed! ah, what an exciting feeling! I told her what I was looking for (colors, theme, extra, etc) and that is exactly what she delivered. Take a look at the photos below for yourself! She came in early to set up and then came back after the event to clean up. She was professional, timely, and so so sweet! If you are hosting an event and are looking for someone to do your backdrop decor, I highly recommend her.

Okay, so you know how people joke about going to events only for the food?! well…I wanted to make sure that my guests were going to be happy and satisfied with the food and desserts I had on the table. That being said, I bring you vendor number two: M&M Bakes.

She is one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. She made all the adorable desserts (except the fruit cups & donuts), including the cute cake. You’ll fall in love with the cake when you see it – It was adorable and flavor-wise, it was the perfect balance of sweetness. My hubby couldn’t get his hand off the cake lol it was cute because we had to fight for the last piece…[preg lady obv won in case you’re wondering]

Being an island girl I still have a strong inclination toward all things tropical – the weather, white sands, blue waters & fresh fruits. This is why some sort of fruit had to obviously be on the table and I couldn’t think of anyone else but Confessions of a sweet tooth. It doesn’t get fresher than what she has to offer. When I say fresh, I mean the fruits legit came in 2 days before the shower, they got packed the next day ready to be served – so impressive!

Overall, everybody had such a good time. We played games, ate delicious food, had a good laugh, and took lots of photos which I will now share below! I hope you find this post somewhat helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read this post 🙂
